The future of windshield replacement..

A well calibrated camera can save lives.

Precise calibration is needed after common repair procedures or windshield replacement, otherwise these important safety systems will not work properly.

  • Collision Repair
  • Wheel Alignment
  • Glass Replacement
  • Specialty Repair

ADAS stands for “Advanced Driver(s) Assistance Systems”

These systems rely upon cameras, lasers, and radar – often with the camera mounting to the windshield. Any time a new windshield is installed, the camera must be calibrated to ensure proper functionality and to restore the camera to OEM specifications.

Examples of ADAS applications are:

  • Lane Departure Warning
  • Collision Warning
  • Blind Spot Monitoring
  • Park Assist
  • Automatic Cruise Control
  • Pedestrian Protection
  • Headlights Control

Calibration is necessary after a glass installation, especially ones with a camera mounted to it, this process is done to return the vehicle's ADAS to OEM specifications. This is done to ensure that the system features continue to properly function.

If a calibration is not preformed the cameras, radars and lasers on a vehicle could be off even if it's only millimeters, they may give false readings and may not function properly. Which could lead to dangerous driving or accidents.

  • After Windshield Replacement
  • The System Displays Fault Codes
  • The Camera Is Disconnected or Disturbed
  • After Minor Vehicle Collisions

Don't Under Estimate Stone Chips

If a stone chip is left too long, not only will the chip fill up with dirt and moisture (Thus, making for a more difficult repair), it WILL crack! Which costs you your deductible to replace.

Stone Chips may also be dangerous. Some can block vision from the driver, creating a blind spot. Which can put you, or whom ever is in the vehicle, in harms way.

Stone Chips may also occur right in center of vision. Which can be quite the distraction or nuisance, making you tilt your head to see around the chip, causing unsafe driving.
